Puerto Morelos: A Gateway to Your Dream Dives
Some of Mexico's best-known dive destinations are all hustle and hassle. Puerto Morelos isn’t one of them.
A quiet fishing town between Cancún and Playa del Carmen. The Caribbean’s second-largest barrier reef just offshore. We're right on the beach, so no long hauls or crowded transfers. Coral gardens and colorful schools of fish thrive just minutes away, and the slower pace in town means fewer crowds at every dive site.
Puerto Morelos is also the perfect base for variety.
One day you’re gliding over shallow coral gardens... the next you’re exploring drift dives, wrecks, or the magical cenotes of the Yucatán. And when you’re ready for a day trip, Cozumel’s famous wall dives are within easy reach.
Whether it’s reef, cavern, wreck, or drift... Puerto Morelos puts it all at your fin tips.

Protecting the Reef We Call Home
We dive this reef like it’s our own backyard — because it is.
That means following strict no-touch, no-chase wildlife rules, using only mooring buoys instead of anchors, and encouraging reef-safe sunscreen or long sleeves to minimize chemical impact.
Our boats run modern engines that meet environmental standards, and we participate in conservation efforts like Dive Against Debris clean-ups and controlled lionfish removal where permitted.
We also support local marine park programs that help keep these waters healthy for future generations. When you dive with Wet Set, you’re not just exploring the reef... you’re helping to protect it.

🌌 Night Shore Dive (1 Tank)
Check-in: Approximately 6:30 PM, depending on sunlight
Owner David Tosi's favorite dive experience!
When the sun goes down, the reef comes alive. Experience Puerto Morelos’ reef after dark with a guided night dive — spot nocturnal creatures, corals opening, and the reef in a whole new light. Check in once the sun sets and waters calm, then prepare, to be amazed... As the reef transitions from day light to darkness we submerge and become one with the underworld. The wonderous creatures who hide during the day come alive to prowl the reef in nocturnal splendor, providing a chance to see things that you just can’t see during the day.
