Life in this fishing village, between the mangrove and the sea is quiet, slow and casual. Our outstanding dive, snorkel and SNUBA sites on the earth’s second largest barrier reef are protected in the National Marine Park and remain world-class. Our seaside town is conveniently located 25 minutes south of the airport (CUN) and 30 minutes North of Playa del Carmen. Even if visiting before catching your flight home, we recommend a swim in the warm, clear water with us, a slow walk along the beach to the town square and enjoying an oceanfront meal, you will blend right in! Rest assured, you will want to come back for more. More information.

From the Airport (CUN):
It’s cost effective and convenient to rent a car if you plan to stay in a hotel outside of town and wish to visit us for more than two days. If you plan to spend most of your time close to town on the beach, then it would be more reasonable to use the local bus or private transportation services to get here from the airport. More Info.. Each hotel has a taxi stand with safe and helpful drivers just waiting for you. The taxis and fares are government regulated. For 1 to 4 people the prices range from 100 to 250 pesos one way from our local hotels. Taxis take dollars, but will cost you less if you get pesos at the front desk. Just tell your driver to go to the Hotel Ojo de Agua. (pronounced “Hotel O-ho day AH-gwah”) At the end of your tour we will call a taxi for the return trip to your hotel. From Town Square:
